Hailing from the sandy streets of Asbury Park, NJ, The Mercury Brothers have been bringing their bluesy, boozy, rock enthusiasm to audiences since 2015. Combining excellent musicianship with an almost reckless abandon, their performances exude soulful angst that will have you reminiscing about lascivious nights half-remembered. Members Dan Apy (lead vocals, guitar) and Ryan Lascelles (Bass) have been creating music and memories together since childhood. Along with the effervescent Luke Mckenna on drums, The Mercury Brothers released their first EP, “In retrograde” as a 3 Piece band in August of 2017. Raspy, honest vocals over fluid, insistent guitar riffs and high energy percussion go down like a shot of Irish whiskey and will have you dancing just as quickly. Joining the band this past year is Michael Mazza (guitar), life-time friend of Luke and a perfect addition to the brotherhood, only amplifying the obvious harmony the guys have on stage. Together, The Mercury Brothers are a force to be reckoned with, leaving spectators with the strange mix of nostalgia and frenzied inspiration so quintessential of nights spent on the Jersey Shore.
